Restaurant Il Pirata in Niedermohr

I only give 4 * Unfortunately several times with the service (mistakes) not satisfied, mistakes can happen but you have to be able to deal with them, I would like a little more friendliness and more attention to the guests. But I'll be back and adjust my rating if necessary.

My family and I stayed here (it’s also a hotel) when we moved to Germany before our house was ready for move-in and not only did we enjoy our visit and the beautiful building and outdoor areas but we LOVED eating at il Pirata every night because the food was so amazing! Even after moving into our house, we continued to eat here often for years because not only is the food some of the best Italian you’ll ever eat but the family and their employees are so welcoming and accommodating. The decor is beautiful and they even have a nice playground area for kids to run around.

Excellent pizza! Our 'go to' stop for Italian pizza. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered from them.

Anyone who thinks they have to delete reviews will certainly get another one. Pasta doesn't taste like much, exactly 4 pieces of meat, some cheese and that's it. Tomato sauce tasteless. For over € 10 already cheeky.

Food was ok so far But the operation (male) ? a disaster ..... A drink was then announced ........ The boss was sitting next door with guests at the table ......... (after I had told her it was a little faster) I also had to wait to pay for that. Whether there will be a reunion ....... I don't think so.

Pizza and salad deliciously priced appropriately. Unfortunately, dessert came after a long wait. Gladly again

Food and location are very good (3 stars). Will not go there anyway, were treated very badly on an important day for our family (-2 stars).

Pirata is not just a great Italian kitchen but a great Italian family! Many people not only come for the fine cuisine but for the family hospitality! So come for the great food but stay and relax for the great people you will meet here...I've been doing it for OVER 30 Years and just realized I may have told you one of my greatest secrets when you finally do come to...The il PIRATA!

For the area, the restaurant is overhyped. Had okay service. They messed up our order not because of the language barrier, but not listening properly. Pasta was okay. Good and fresh pizza however. Definitely a one time visit to try

This place reminds me of home. The perfumes and Italian hospitality that give the owner Franca and his staff and unique. It 'a very clean restaurant, great atmosphere and service and' exquisite. I love all their dishes. Authenticity kindness and excellent service are their special. I highly recommend this little gem to all!

Great pizzas, and it won't bust the wallet. It's a bit interesting to find the parking lot as Google maps got it wrong this time.

love, love, love this place. We have been here with large groups, date night, summer fun on the patio. Always excellent service. I had to leave and grab my son at Ramstein came back and they had my food saved and hot for me when I arrived back. Love the owners, kids enjoy the playset and watching the train cruise by. Highly recommended!

I was stationed in the Ramstein area 3 different times over a 24 year AF career and this was always my favorite restaurant. The owners felt like family and treated me, my wife and daughter their family. I still think of them 12 years after we left. Oh yeah, the food is EXCELLENT, nothing bad on the menu. If I ever go back, I know the first place I'll stop.

One of the guys here is such a creeper, he wouldn’t stop hitting on my girlfriend. Not worth it!

The food was very good, you sit nicely and there is a nice beer garden. Unfortunately we were but after the main course ignored, would like to have something to eat and drink. After 30min, we even go to checkout to pay, because no one has asked for us. That gives then unfortunately point deduction.

Absolutely love this place, the food, the service, atmosphere. Has it all, definitely give this place a try.

The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Large outdoor seating area and very family friendly. There's even a play area where your kids can play while you eat. Accepts credit cards and has English descriptions on the menu.

Salads and pizza were good (1 year ago) Asparagus with parma ham and parmesan cheese = asparagus not to be enjoyed. Bitter and not peeled properly. Gefrohren? Complaint only at the second attempt. Then took it from the bill. ?? Eating out of the can!? Ready packet .... nothing fresh! Boss after the complaint (got you and seen over) disappeared. Paste al stretched? Nö durchgekocht .......

I grew up in a small village nearby and this was always my favorite family dinner place, all year round. Amazing food, great atmosphere, friendly staff members ❤️
